Coin Center: Defending Our Rights in Washington D.C
Coin Center is a leading non-profit focused on cryptocurrency policy issues and one of the strongest voices in Washington against financial surveillance. The team has worked tirelessly to protect electronic cash, speaking out against stifling laws and regulations and representing the interests of the crypto community. They have:
- Filed everything from briefs against the SEC in defense of individuals to court challenges against the Treasury Department for unconstitutional financial surveillance
- Provided a wealth of knowledge through testimony before Congress, media appearances, and written publications
- Sued OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) for sanctioning Tornado Cash, overstepping their legal authority, and infringing upon our basic privacy rights
